In 2004, the company established a new unit under the name Star Imaging & Path Lab Pvt. Ltd., located at 4B/4, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi-110018, to provide complete diagnostic facilities and solutions under one roof.

Mr. Pawan Gupta, Managing Director of Star Imaging & Path Lab Limited, aims to bring world-class and modern facilities within the reach of the common man in the fields of Radiology, Pathology, Cardiology, Neurology and Oncology.

Independent Director

Dr. Vimal Gupta, a distinguished healthcare professional, holds an MBBS from the University of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and an MD from AIIHPH, University of Calcutta. With over four decades of experience, he has served as Director of Abyss Pharma Pvt. Ltd., leading business development, product innovation, and operational excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing. He also dedicates time to free medical practice by appointment.

As the Chief Quality Officer at Janta X-Ray Clinic, Dr. Gupta ensures compliance with stringent quality standards, leading teams through NABL and NABH inspections for Star Imaging & Path Labs Ltd. He previously served as a Senior Resident in Community Medicine at Lady Hardinge Medical College and owned a private medical practice. A certified expert in Quality Systems Management, Dr. Gupta continues to combine his medical expertise with entrepreneurial leadership to advance healthcare services.

Independent Director

Dr. Yogesh K. Virmani, a graduate of Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Amritsar, has been practicing dentistry since 1978. A former member of the Dental Council of India, he currently serves as the Secretary General of the International College of Dentists (India, Sri Lanka & Nepal Section) and President of the IDA North Delhi Branch. Renowned for his expertise in restorative dentistry, Dr. Virmani conducts lectures and workshops on national and international platforms.

As a visionary in the dental field, he is the Director of 28ACE Labs, and has developed the patient management software Dental Office Manager. Dr. Virmani is producing a documentary aimed at patient education and is a strong advocate for dental sealants, encapsulated in his memorable phrase: “Fight Cavities Away, Get Sealants Today!”

Non Executive Director

Dr. Sameer Sood is a highly experienced radiologist with over 28 years of expertise in conventional and cross-sectional imaging, specializing in CT and MRI. He completed his MBBS and MD in Radio- Diagnosis from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Throughout his career, Dr. Sood has held key positions, including Senior Resident in Radiodiagnosis at AIIMS and Assistant Professor of Radiology at PGIMS, Chandigarh. He has also served as a Radiologist at Riyadh Central Hospital and is currently the Head of Department & Senior Consultant Radiology at Star Imaging and Path Labs since 1996.

A dedicated professional, Dr. Sood has contributed significantly to medical research, with numerous publications in reputed journals. He has also presented papers at national and international conferences and actively participated as a speaker and delegate in medical seminars. Recognized for his contributions to the medical field, he received a Certificate of Appreciation as a COVID warrior from the Evangelical Church of India. He is also a life member of the Indian Radiological Association and the Indian Medical Association. With a strong academic background, extensive clinical experience, and a commitment to excellence in radiology, Dr. Sameer Sood continues to be a respected name in the field.

Executive Director

Chhaya Gupta is a dynamic leader renowned for her expertise in healthcare administration, strategic management, and community engagement. With an MBA in International Business Management, she has transformed healthcare delivery through innovative solutions, operational excellence, and technology integration. Her visionary leadership has driven impactful community health education programs, partnerships with non-profits, and outreach initiatives, improving access to preventive care and early diagnosis. As a champion of social responsibility, she has set benchmarks in advancing healthcare standards while fostering organizational effectiveness and community wellbeing. Chhaya’s dedication continues to inspire excellence in healthcare management and social impact.

Executive Director

With over a decade of experience in the healthcare diagnostics industry, Neelam Ratra currently serves as the Executive Director at Star Imaging and Path Lab Limited. A visionary leader and seasoned healthcare professional, she brings deep expertise in quality management systems, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Neelam’s journey at Star Imaging began in the quality and operations vertical, where she played a pivotal role in implementing NABL and NABH standards, streamlining internal auditing practices, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement across departments. Her leadership has significantly contributed to the organization’s reputation for delivering reliable, patient-centric diagnostic services.

She holds an MBA in Hospital & Health Care Management and has undergone advanced training in ISO standards, accreditation protocols, and strategic healthcare management. Her professional background includes key roles at leading hospitals and labs, both in India and internationally, including work with NHS operations in the UK.

Fluent in multiple languages—English, Hindi, Punjabi, Persian (Farsi, Pashto), and Banwali—Neelam is known for her inclusive leadership style and commitment to raising the bar in healthcare delivery. As Executive Director, she continues to drive Star Imaging’s growth, innovation, and unwavering dedication to excellence in diagnostics.

Independent Director

Mr. Dikshant Nagpal is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a commerce graduate with rich and various experience of more than 6 years. He has qualified as Chartered Accountant in year 2019 and is a certified Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection (FAFD) from ICAI.

Post qualification, he has worked with various organizations at leadership level where he has served various clienteles including Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), banking & financial institutions, listed companies and big private limited companies in the areas of audit & assurance, statutory audits, due diligence, forensic audits & investigation audits, internal audits, internal financial controls (IFC), agency for specialized monitoring (ASM), stock & receivable audits etc. He has vast experience in various industries such as diagnostics, FMCG, e-commerce, textile, EPC, NBFC, steel, power, ethanol etc.

Currently, he is a director in AVA Advisors & Trainers India Private Limited, where he handles consultancy and risk management division including valuations, process audits and other advisory services.
